World cinema day
Documentation is the most important step. You may forget to even perform a few of the necessary procedures but documentation, nah nah nah, never forget that. Well memories won't have to be presented in front of court of law but they have to be remembered. And that's the reason I document probably everything( plus I have a great fear of developing dementia and forgetting all these great days). So I might not remember world leprosy day or world TB day but from today I will probably always remember world cinema day, 20th Sept, all movies at 99. What a craze. What not for watching any movie just to have an outing, how many times of cancelling and re planning and people getting upset and convincing them oh my goodness, a day worth remembering. Probably after today we might never all go together to watch a movie but today was lit. So the planning started on Wednesday night when Anusko formed a group. It started with Tumbaad but few had already watched. They we went to Speak no evil and never let go. Sadly found out next day that speak no evil didn't have the offer and never let go had shitty rating. Nobody wanted to go and watch Buckingham murders. So what were we left with - Yudhra, Padatik , Arm. Now two of them already went and watched Padatik on Friday. So now watching Yudhra. Itna faltu trailer. I never imagined watching Raghav in Bollywood. Kisiko bhi utha lete hai yeh log aajkal. So again back to square one. Tumbaad. Anusko left the group, he got too irritated with all the plan cancelling and us adding him back in the group. Chandrima left and mehuli joined and chandrima again was added and we decided on yudhra. Those who watched yudhras trailer didn't like it and now comes today. Afternoon lunch break. Shrayam suggested the best way is to just cancel the plan and go home and motivated as much as I was to not watch yudhra, I messaged the same. Now the convincing and deciding, shifting from just eating outside at riyasat or giovani sth because of 45 percent discount or watching a movie just for the sake of the fact that we had invested so much into deciding it. Finally Anushka came into the picture. 5:30pm lake mall, plenty of seats left, who wants to go to watch Tumbaad. We came back from where we started. We watched it. We loved it. I even found out the fountain water tap outside movie hall. We went to Ballygunge by train, while some of us were eating others went to zudio even purchased stuff before the show started. After the intermission lights werent off so they even repeated a few scenes and the movie ended at 7:45 pm. I reached home almost 9:20pm. The day ended. So fulfilling. Maybe the movie felt much more fun just because of the process we went through. Safar khoobsurat hai manzil se bhi. But iske baad koi is safar par embark nahi karna chahega. The end.
