"Ek shalik" twice
Okay so if you are reading this, just a disclaimer- don't ago ahead any further if you are always thinking of the big things because then this day of me and my friend will look very small and lame to you. It's not very epic experience either but it's very satisfactory and worth remembering for us. So yesterday we had our Commed item. Now my friend Anushka while coming to college saw "Ek shalik", now for all those you don't know this, it's basically shalik is a bird and normally they stay in pairs and if you see just one of them it means something bad is going to happen soon. Now she got a seat in the bus so bad things didn't happen till now. She didn't even have her viva exam by a certain ma'am. If you know her you exactly know the terror and fear I am talking about. But then, a professor of us whom we had previously approached for taking a viva on epidemiology called us and said give the viva now. His exact words " pore chilish toh,10 min revise kor diye de". I and Anushka are both looking at the horror we places ourselves in. Two people who learn and forget as rapid as us placed in a situation like this it's horror. We told sir that we will give tomorrow as well were supposed to come for our wards. Now the best thing being I had planned on going to watch a movie on Friday. She saw shalik and we both got f***ed. Now comes the next thing, studying the evening when all your friends are having fun outside. Anushka then told me while returning she saw the shalik at the exact same place and at night again when I was boiling egg the egg burst and contents came out. The ek shalik effect AGAIN. So if you have come this far, see I told you these are very small things, you might have wasted your precious time reading this. Next part. I was supposed to wake up at 5 am today. Instead I woke up at 8 am. Three hours of extra sleep when you have majority of topics left to be covered. But ab kya. I went to college. Did eye wards. Gave the viva. 45 mins, it was insane. Now I am writing this while I am returning home. I will sleep today. I will go shopping. I will eat good food. I will re -energise myself for the terrors of next week.
PS- This was the first Saturday I went to college.
